Facilities

Campers, school and retreat groups sleep in chalet-style two-story cabins with single-sex living quarters and multiple indoor showers and restroom facilities. Each cabin houses up to 26 participants with at least three counselors per cabin to provide steady and safe supervision during summer camp. School groups provide their own cabin supervision.

Nutritious, balanced menus are served family-style three times a day during summer camp and for school groups staying overnight. A fully stocked salad bar is available during every meal. Single-day groups may request meals for the time they are at camp. During summer camp, overnight campers are served snacks and juice mid-morning and in the evening every day. The camp store also offers tasty afternoon treats and provides a variety of choices for ice cream, soft drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. BJP’s kitchen staff is happy to work with conference and retreat groups to plan a menu that meets the culinary needs of your group. BJP’s kitchen staff can accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets as well as most food allergies upon request.

The camp includes two in-door classroom spaces, a large multi-purpose meeting room, an open-air picnic shelter that serves as an outdoor classroom, and a spacious recreation hall in addition to cabins, maintenance, and administrative buildings. Tables and chairs are available in all meeting spaces by request. The camp also has free wi-fi access and can accommodate most AV needs.
