Candace Hairston joined the Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Center in March 2019 as the Food Service Director, providing nutritious and delicious meals to all participants. Prior to her employment with BJP, she worked for a non-profit organization as the Cafeteria Manager for their corporate office. Candace also has a background in healthcare as she was previously employed as a Certified Dietary Manager for a skilled nursing facility. Candace has many years of food service experience including fast food, catering, and bakery experience. Candace has an Associates Degree in Applied Science for Culinary Technology and is Servsafe certified, a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), and a Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) through The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals.
